Sometimes you have to make your DSM work on a Saturday. The corn and soybean plot are in the ground below the warehouse. I own 2 of these tenders and today was my first time using either one. I will say it beats throwing bags! The farm is all planted so I can focus on treating soybeans and customer service.

The soybean treater is running beans. Working the plots for planting on Saturday. The first 4 rows of sweet corn are planted. Please look up Riverside Produce LLC on Facebook and the web to see what the wife has growing.
I'm sure there are many tractors hooked up to planters and pointed out the door. I encourage everyone to make sure they are paying attention to the details. Getting in a big rush to plant can lead to costly mistakes. I will be delivering chemicals in full force this week and I plan to start treating soybeans by the weekend.
It has been hard to keep a positive attitude with our current weather pattern. To make it even better, everyone in our house has been under the weather. So after hearing about birds dying from starvation and exposure the girls and I thought we would help. The insect eating birds like robins really needed help. I now look like the crazy bird person. Every bare spot I cleared is covered with birds eating. So beautiful, well, not as beautiful as a fresh tilled or planted field. We'll get there.
Tomorrow should be the last snow storm of the year. The long range forcast is looking very favorable. Highs in the 60's with minimal moisture looks to be the trend. This time of year things can change quickly. I hope everyone is prepared to hit the fields hard. Our timeline for planting is still on pace with last season. Nearly all the seed corn is delivered and I have been getting chemicals out as soon as they come in. I can't stress how important being prepared will be. All the ag retailers will be swamped at the same time. Yield PRO Agronomy LLC is stocked up and ready to deliver great service and products at a moments notice. Please call me for all your spring seed and chem needs.
