It is time to start thinking about sidedress applications of fertilizer. Trying to time applications with rain can be tricky. Make sure you use a combination of a urease inhibitor and stabilizer like Instinct. Most fertilizer plants can treat with these products at your request. Protecting your nitrogen investment on the surface and in the soil is very important.
Spraying is going at full tilt. Most fields are in need of a cleanup at this time. Lots of pre herbicides did not get put on because of a challenging planting schedule. Please call with questions about killing tough weeds and use rates. Remember to watch height restrictions on certain chemicals. The recent heat has driven plant growth. Don't forget the details. Weed control is very critical.

Tripidity treated 1818R2X's off to a fast start!
Pumpkins are up! Weed control is the number 1 priority in pumpkins. I used a layed approach of 4 herbicides for my pre treatment. Hope it works!

The Channel 1818R2X soybeans with a new additional treatment are sprouted after just 3 days. I added a product called Tripidity to the Brute and Exceed. Tripidity contains the same 3 growth regulators that are in Ascend along with a micronutrient pak. I have this product on hand if anyone would like to try it.
