Much needed rain fell over the region in recent days. All corn and soybeans fields will benefit. Pods should fill and this will increase soybean size. With corn, kernal depth will improve along with potential test weight. I've also noticed some soybeans lodging due to heavy rain. This was compounded by the weight of the filled pods. Overall I feel this should not hurt yields, and they should (kind of) stand back up after defoliation.
